Why we do it.
As we see it, We are ALL One Body!
We enjoy helping our fellow Brothers and Sisters & Churches for a variety of reasons. As "Christians", our reason for helping is much deeper than any personal emotional satisfaction we may reap by helping others.
Here at Pishon River Ministries, we Serve to Honor and Glorify God the Creator, Sustainer & Giver of ALL Life.
As followers of YahShua the Christ, we are commanded to mold our lives after the example He set for us. YahShua served as our model of Love, Compassion, and Service.
We at Pishon River Ministries serve the community of Central Oregon, NW Montana and "ALL" Churches throughout the United States, because we desire to follow Christ's powerful example of Compassion for Everyone and Everything.
Colossians 3:12 YahShua tells us, "Therefore, as God's People, Holy and Dearly Loved, Clothe yourselves with Compassion, Kindness, Humility, Gentleness and Patience." Pishon River Ministries mission is not only a Reflection of YahShua's example of Love and Compassion, but ultimately, Service.
Robyn & I use the resources God has Blessed us with to be His Light to the Saved, Unsaved and to Help Restore the Hurting Community.
"Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for Me." -- Matthew 25:40
Be Strong!
Be Safe!
Be Nice!
Be Blessed!

UPDATE: That was 2011 to 2013. Robyn & I have ended up in Troy Montana Bearing the Burdens of Don & Genevieve. It is now 2015 and our Next "Bearing Burdens" is Helping our Homeless Veterans.
Operation - Band of Brothers
Leave No Veteran Behind
Please Support our Vital Mission!
Veteran Homelessness is a Weapon of Mass Destruction.
"Top Priority 1 - Immediate Mission Request"
A Home for Heroes
First, lets take a moment to Recollect & Remember the Sacrifices of the Brave Men and Women, the Heroes & She-roes who have valiantly fought to make America the Greatest Nation on Earth. God Bless America!
Hello, Fellow Countrymen, we would be Grateful for any Assistance on how to obtain a Grant, Per Diem or some other type of Funding for our Dispossessed Veterans.
There are 22,658,000 Veterans in America today. Thousands of these American Veterans are Struggling with Homelessness. As a matter of fact 1 in 5 Homeless individuals in America are American Veterans.
Sadly, the number of Homeless Vietnam-era Veterans is Greater than the number of Soldiers who Perished during the entire War. There are literally Thousands upon Thousands of Homeless American Veterans on the Streets in America every Night.
Robyn and I Faithfully want to make a Proactive Effort to End the Homelessness of our Beloved Veterans. Speaking from Experience, what some folks fail to realize about Homelessness is that Simple Compassion can go a Long Way toward Encouraging someone who is Trapped in a Dark and Desolate Place.
With the increasing number of returning Veterans in need of Affordable Housing, the Amalgamated Lake Creek Inn and Pishon River Ministries Homeless Veteran Coalition is looking at how we can best Serve this Emergent portion of the population.
There are several factors that contribute to the mounting Homeless Veteran population, not just the Extreme Shortage of Affordable Housing but also, the Lack of Support Networks.
Although flawless counts are impossible to come by, Approximately 13,000 Veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn were Homeless at one time and the number of Homeless Veterans is Rapidly Increasing.
A Top Priority for our Homeless Veterans is Safe, Secure, Hygienic Housing that offers a Supportive Environment unburdened of Drugs and Alcohol.
Our Homeless Veterans face a Toxic and often Hostile environment on a daily basis.
Robyn and I opportunely Manage the Lake Creek Inn in Troy Montana and we would like to Acquire the Motel, then proceed to Renovate and/or Alter at least 7 of the 14 Rooms (up to 10) for Supportively and Accommodatingly Housing some of our Dispossessed Veterans and perhaps their small Family.
We want to ensure that every Service Member, Veteran and their Family Members are Admirably Recognized and their Reintegration Needs are Supported. We must look beyond usual funding sources and organizational limits to find new ways to reach these Heartbroken Families. There are tons of Veterans programs but they do not meet the existing need.
The Lake Creek Inn features 14 Rooms, Kitchenettes & Suites, as well as a 2 Bedroom Apartment. The Quaint Bucolic Inn quietly rests on Approximately 2 Green Acres, Comfortably & Quietly Nestled in the Picturesque Mountains of Rural Northwest Montana. Our Veterans and their Families will be enjoying Hunting, Fishing, Hiking, Backpacking, Sight Seeing, Mountain Biking, Boating, Cross Country Skiing and Snowmobiling while experiencing Untamed Wildlife, Majestic Mountains, Roaring Rivers, Lovely Lakes and Stunning Streams.
Robyn and I see a Real Need for this Critical Mission in our Country and we have some Great Partners that we have lined up to Work Together with us to give our Veterans the simple Housing they Deserve.
Until serious efforts are made to address the underlying causes of Homelessness in general, the tragedy of destitution and penury among both Veterans and Non-Veterans will continue to plague our American communities.
Montana is in the top three for highest per-capita Veteran Populations.
Big Sky Montana is a vast, sparsely populated State with Very Few Resources for Homeless Veterans and their Families in Rural areas. Furthermore, many Facilities that do Assist Families often exclusively serve Female Victims of Domestic Violence.
An American Veteran that is Suffering from Homelessness feels a form of Rejection and Abandonment.
The Dark Spirits of Rejection and Abandonment are among some of the most common Demons that we Encounter and Battle in our World today. It seems that almost everybody is affected by Rejection and Abandonment to some degree. It's vital to understand how it works, and how to apply the Cure.
Im sure that you are aware, Every Day 24 American Veterans take their own Lives. That's one Suicide every Hour. As shocking as that number is, it may actually be higher. At the time of this Writing, that's 7441 needless Veterans Deaths by Suicide. Another Report says that there are over 1000 reported Suicide Attempts each and every month among American Veterans.
Those who have Support, Courage and Faith will never succumb to Misery.
Rejection and Abandonment attacks the very Being that we are. It Destroys our self-esteem, and attacks who we are and our purpose in this Life. This is why it is one of the most common tools the Seraphim of Darkness will use to Destroy a person's Life. Our Creator never wanted us to feel Rejected or Abandoned. He wants us to know who we really are, and to realize how deeply He loves, accepts, and appreciates us, so we can live out the fullness of what all He has established us to be.
Rejection and Abandonment have a way of Destroying a Veteran's Life in a way that few other things can. The sad fact is that the number of Veteran's today who are affected by Rejection and Abandonment is staggering. If we want to be all that our Creator has Created us to be, then overpowering the Spirits of Rejection and Abandonment and their affects is vital and absolutely essential.
The Truth and nothing but the Truth is that we were Created by our Creator to be Loved, Accepted, and Appreciated. Rejection and Abandonment starve a Veteran from Love and Acceptance that they were Designed to Receive.
Sure, Thanking our Soldiers for their Service is all well and good, but we Owe our American Veterans and their Families much more. They need our Word and our Action as well as our Respect, Compassion and Full Unbridled Support.
Our American Veterans and their Families carry the Pain of War long after the Bomb and Guns are Silenced. They Deserve a Devoted Country that Truly Respects their Sacrifice and has the Integrity to do Everything Possible to Ease their Pain and Suffering.
Our returning American Veterans Deserve to come Home to a Proud Nation that Honors their Sacrifices. "One Homeless Veteran is One Homeless Veteran too many". They were there when we needed them...We must be there now that they need us!
Where there's Hope, there's Life. It fills us with fresh courage and makes us strong again.? -- Anne Frank
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a difference in the World, but an American Veteran doesn't have that problem.
We hope you will join with us to Honor our Veterans for their Service and Hope you will Partner with us to End Veteran Homelessness and make sure that all Veterans have access to the Resources and Support they've earned.
Robyn & I wholeheartedly anticipate providing a Vibrant, Affordable Hamlet where American Veterans can find the Stability they need so they not only Survive but can Thrive.
Robyn & I are Confidently Seeking a $500K Grant, Funding, Endowment, Contribution, Donation, Gift or Bequest.
Please be of Assistance in our Efforts to End Homelessness among our American Veterans.
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them -- John F Kennedy
Pishon River Ministries Homeless Veteran Coalition & Supportive Housing is Dedicated to a particular purpose: Compassionately Empowering our American Veterans to lead High-Quality Lives with Respect and Dignity. We may never be able to fully repay our Veterans for the Sacrifices they've made, but we must at least try.
Your assistance goes a long way in helping us live up to our responsibilities to Americas Veterans. More American Veterans are coming home every day, and we have to make sure they have the tools they need to succeed. Sometimes that simply starts with a safe place to live!
Supporters: We are in the Trenches, helping Veterans who need help the most, and we need Your Support to keep going. You can help those Vets in need by making a Donation to the Pishon River Ministries Homeless Veteran Confederation.
We may even find a Church that needs us for a year, maybe two, maybe even longer!
